Light Displacement High Performance One Design RC44 Katusha is a new Russian team on the RC44 Championship Tour which is skippered by Paul Cayard. Katusha joined the RC44 Class in September 2009 and immediately won their first match racing event, showing their level of ambition from the outset. Katusha and its international crew are undoubtedly one of the favorites for the 2010 season which includes the following events:
February 22 - 27 - Al Maktoum Sailing Trophy - Dubai, United Arab Emirates The RC 44 is a light displacement high performance One Design sailing boat. It was designed by three-time America's Cup winner Russell Coutts, together with naval architect Andrej Justin. The RC 44 was created for top level racing in international regattas under strictly controlled Class Rules. The concept and the design features of the RC 44 are dedicated to the amateur helmsmen racing in fleet racing sailing events. |
